Connecting WhatsApp

Connect WhatsApp to receive guest messages and send notifications or custom messages from Millenium Connect.

Updated over a week ago

WhatsApp can be connected to Millenium Connect to both receive messages from guests and send outbound messages such as notifications or custom communications.

This makes WhatsApp a powerful channel for guest communication before, during, and after a stay.

What WhatsApp can be used for

Once connected, WhatsApp can be used to:

  • Receive messages from guests

  • Reply to guest questions from the inbox

  • Send notifications (for example, check-in information)

  • Send custom messages such as house rules or instructions

Messages are delivered to guests as standard WhatsApp conversations.

What you need before connecting WhatsApp

Before connecting WhatsApp, you must have:

  • A WhatsApp Business Account (WABA)

  • A phone number not already linked to WhatsApp

  • Access to your Meta Business Manager

Personal WhatsApp numbers cannot be used.

How WhatsApp is connected

WhatsApp is connected by granting Millenium Connect access through Meta Business Manager.

You do not share login credentials.

To proceed, you must add Millenium Connect as a Meta partner.

Once access is granted, our team completes the setup and activates WhatsApp in your account.

Important notes about WhatsApp fees and billing

WhatsApp usage includes Meta messaging fees, which depend on message type and volume.

These fees:

  • Are not included in your Millenium Connect subscription

  • Are usage-based (notifications, templates, conversations, etc.)

  • Are billed separately

If you want details about pricing, message categories, or estimated costs, contact support or your account manager before activating WhatsApp.
