When a guest contacts you through a direct channel, the conversation may not be linked to an existing booking.
In these cases, you can create an offline booking directly from the conversation to keep everything organized in one place.
When to create an offline booking
You’ll typically create a booking from a conversation when:
A guest contacts you via WhatsApp, email, Instagram, or another direct channel
The conversation is not linked to an OTA booking
You want the stay to appear in your calendar and reports
This helps ensure availability, rates, and operations stay accurate.
How it works (high level)
From an open conversation, you can:
Access the guest profile
Create a booking linked to that guest and listing
Add stay dates and basic booking details
Once created, the booking becomes part of your calendar and is linked to the conversation.
Why this is useful
Creating a booking from a conversation allows you to:
Block dates correctly in the calendar
Keep guest communication and stay details together
Include direct bookings in reporting and operations
